Traditionally thatcher's price work 'per square' (100 Square feet) for the coat-work and a price per foot for re-ridging. As a job rate the faster the work is completed the more you earn.
Unfortunately, every job (primarily re-ridging) we have undertaken over the past 18 months has required significant rectification for no other reason than poor workmanship the previous time the work was completed on a job rate, rushed, with a lack of care.
out of respect for our customers we have done the honourable thing and stuck with our 'job rate' price.
based on this poor workmanship we have continually encountered we are changing pricing to a day rate + Materials
Our aim at D&D Thatching Ltd is to do the best job humanly possible. we want the reputation of the best thatcher's by doing the best job, including the work you can't see, the work that's hidden below the thatch.
